April 2024

Wednesday April 3rd. On yet another rainy day, enjoy the Sparrows sheltering in their bush near the canal bridge. And a pheasant poses on a bird feeder table in the reserve garden.

Friday April 5th. My first Peacock butterfly of the year on a mild day of sunshine and showers.

Monday April 8th. Lovely to see the Cuckoo flower adorn the canal banks once more.

Saturday April 13th. Visit Rodley reserve where a Grasshopper Warbler is reported, but not seen. Do see a female Blackcap though.
